Dry Rug Cleaning
This is one of the most used and most effective ways of rug cleaning. Due to its efficiency and convenience, it has gained fame over time and most big rug production companies have recommended this method of cleaning to their customers or buyers. It involves the application of a specific cleaning solution or powder to the base of a rug or carpet. This bottom portion of the carpet is usually exposed using a counter-clockwise rotating tool which swerves the material, showing it’s base. The powder or solution is then put in this exposed part of the rug in which dissolved dirt and grime are absorbed by the substance and then brushed off after a while. This is very convenient as it doesn’t need to be dried. This is best for firms as they work around the clock and they don’t want rug cleaning activities to disrupt their operations.

Bonnet Cleaning
This method of cleaning isn’t through or deep. It is effective but this isn’t the right choice for you if you want deep cleaning for your rug. Bonnet cleaning involves the scrubbing and of the rug’s surface in order to give it a good surface appearance. This cleaning method will make your rug shine but the presence of dirt isn’t completely wiped out of the rug. This is mostly used for areas with considerably high traffic as they need cleaning faster cleaning methods that don’t require drying.

Hot Water Extraction Cleaning
This involves applying hot, pressurized water and specific cleaning agents into the rug, thereby dissolving dirt. What the hot water does is to push the cleaning solution deep into the rug’s base to do its work. The hot water temporarily softens the fibers for easier penetration after which the rug is rinsed or cleaned and then left to dry.
