Mattress Cleaning

Picture
According to Wikipedia, a mattress is a large, rectangular pad used for supporting the reclining body, designed to be used as a bed or in a bed frame, as part of a bed. Mattresses need to be cleaned regularly in order to promote a clean, hygienic home. Mattrasses can get dirty which could result in the birth of really harmful germs; this could be highly dangerous to your health so, in order to avoid this, it’s best to always clean your mattress and don’t forget to do some deep cleaning after a while. Santa Monica Carpet Cleaners can help you clean your mattress anyhow you want it. Our services cover different kinds of methods to it in which you can choose from.

Basic Method
This involves the normal cleaning of your mattress, using dry cloth or vacuum. This method helps you get rid of stains and surface odors that could be easily cleaned. It also helps you remove dust, possible food crumbs, and even dead skin cells from your mattress. Note that this method of mattress cleansing doesn’t require water or any liquid agent; all you need is a good dirt sucker and probably a dry cloth. We would recommend that you do this method regularly or at least once in four to five days.

Deodorising
This method is specially designed to get rid of the odor. Deodorizing helps remove sweat, odor, and dust from the surface of the mattress, putting it in a clean, clear, and odorless condition. A natural deodorizer and baking soda will be needed to complete this mattress cleaning method. These two will be applied unto the mattress and left to do the dirt extraction for about thirty minutes. Once this is done, use a good vacuum cleaner to effectively suck up the deodorizer and baking soda off the mattress. However it’s important to note that this method does not remove stains, it only removes odor from the mattress in question.

Steam Cleaner
This is usually done when your mattress requires a level of deep cleaning. It is capable of forcefully bringing out particles from underneath the mattress. Due to the pressure and temperature of the steam, small particles emerge from the mattrass and bigger particles tend to dissolve and emerge as well after which a vacuum cleaner is used to suck up all dirt once they are all out. The advantage of steam cleaning might have over the others is the ability to remove both odor and stain. No matter how tough the stain might be, a level of steam temperature tends to dissolve it, making it easier to wipe away or extract.

Stain Removal
This is the direct focus on certain stains for the purpose of complete removal. There are different classifications of the most popular mattress stains and these include; protein stains, grease or oily stains, and tannin. These include stains like blood, sweat, oil, food, urine, etc. You can use a number of methods to get rid of these stains and some have been mentioned above.
