Picture
Carpet cleaning is required for every carpet owner who cares about his hygiene. Whether you like it or not, your carpet will have an overall accumulation of dirt and will need some deep cleaning every now and then. Carpet cleaning involves the deep removal of stain or dirt from a carpet through the use of specific methods. These methods are very effective as they pay close attention to detail in the carpet, no dirt is left unclean. If you need your carpet cleaned, Santa Monica Carpet Cleaners are here to help. We have the right tools and methods that will bring your carpet back to it’s former, new state. Our team of experienced cleaners will make sure of a perfectly cleaned carpet, hire us.

Hot Water Extraction Cleaning
This is done by using pressurized hot water and cleaning agents to shake up the carpet fiber and dissolve dirt. Also called the steam carpet cleaning, hot water extraction cleaning does a deep carpet cleaning, the hot water goes deep into the root of fibers and tries to dissolve dirt, making it easier to remove and wash out. This is one of the most efficient ways of cleaning one's carpet as it washes out dissolved dirt. Once this is done, an oxidizing agent is then applied in order to remove this dirt completely from the carpet. This could be done using a brush or any other washing tool.

Carpet Shampooing
This method of carpet cleaning is slowly going extinct but still proves somewhat effective on some carpets. It entails the application of certain liquid agents or carpet shampoos on the carpets in order to give it back it’s original look. The downside to this? Carpet shampooing seems to be effective on thick carpets but they leave lots of wet foam at the root. After carpet shampooing is done, it isn’t spread out to dry, unlike the hot water extraction cleaning method. The wet foam left beneath the carpet is then left to dry inside the house which would last for ages and even make your carpet stink.

Encapsulation
Encapsulation technology is quite advanced compared to the aforementioned methods of carpet cleaning. Encapsulation involves the application of certain liquid agents that have the ability to change from a liquid into powder when it dries. This new method drove carpet shampooing into close extinction because of this unique feature. When this liquid is applied to the carpet, the agent then turns itself and the dirt in the carpet into fine powder when it dries, very awesome technology.

Bonnet cleaning
This involved the use of a special machine to clean the surfaces of carpets. This method works because it's faster and can be used if you don’t want to go through cleaning and drying which could be very time-consuming. This method utilizes a machine with a spinning pad, soaked with dirt extracting cleaning solution, this pad spins and extracts dirt from the surfaces of the carpet. This is mostly used in hotels and commercial live-in homes. However, if you want to do a serious deep cleaning of your carpet, you shouldn’t consider this method.
